Jessica Nutbrown is a Supervisor in our Client Accounting Services department and has been a member of the R&A team for four years. In her role, she supports a variety of clients with their accounting needs, helping them stay organized, informed, and confident in their financial operations. Her strong work ethic and approachable style make her a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues. R&A is proud to share that Jessica was recently elected to the Board of Financial Executives and Affiliates of Tucson (FEAT) to support and further FEAT's mission of providing a venue for senior financial professionals to share information, ideas, and fellowship.
A Tucson native, Jessica's journey into the world of accounting began in an unexpected place—Octopus Car Wash—where she started working at just 14. With the support and mentorship of the owner, she was introduced to the foundations of accounting, sparking a lifelong passion for the field that she remains forever grateful for.
Outside of work, Jessica is a proud mom to two daughters, Rachel (13) and Mila (12), and is engaged to Casey Porter, owner of Porter's Marine here in Tucson. Her household also includes two beloved dogs: Violet, a 12-year-old white lab, and Howley, a 13-year-old dachshund.
Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, especially at the lake, on trips to the White Mountains, or relaxing by the pool soaking up the sun. She's also a fan of thrifting and DIY projects around the house, always on the lookout for creative ways to make her home uniquely hers. Her growing collection of plants is proof that she's embraced her newfound green thumb. Her favorite motto? "Let's make the magic happen."
