Melissa’s experience includes auditing not-for-profit organizations, investment companies, Trusts, and real estate entities. Additionally, she has experience in single audits, Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) compliance and preparing indirect cost rates. Prior to joining R&A, she spent twelve years at the University of Arizona’s College of Optical Sciences handling grant proposals, reporting, and post-award management for federal grants and contracts. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Arizona. She is licensed in Arizona and is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).
